LA’s Weathers Play The Roxy 3/13/21

LA indie pop band Weathers will play at The Roxy on March 13, 2021. They’re heading on their first headlining US tour in February of next year, and their last stop will be in their hometown of Los Angeles.

The band formed in 2015 and consist of members Cameron Boyer, guitarist Cameron Olsen, bassist Brennen Bates, and drummer Cole Carson. Their debut single “Happy Pills” launched their alternative radio success, and peaked at No. 21 on Billboard’s Alternative Songs Chart.

Since their initial success, Weathers have released one full-length album, Kids in the Night in 2018. The album touches on the struggles of existence while making the listener want to get up and dance at the same time. The album has a retro sound that reaches through to the mainstream. Since their album release,  Weathers released  singles “Dirty Money,” “Lonely Vampire,” and “Always Tired” in 2019, and “Feel Good” and “C’est La Vie” in 2020. While they’re just beginning their headlining tour, in the past they’ve supported major alternative acts including Saint Motel, Nothing but Thieves, Dreamers, Palaye Royale, One Ok Rock, Badflower, and Echosmith.
