Jam Out to Phish Live at the Forum 7/23/21

Phish are pretty much a household band name, much like The Grateful Dead at this point. The infamous jam-band were in fact heavily inspired by The Grateful Dead, and have been making music since the ’80s. They were scheduled to tour this summer, 2020 following the release of their latest album Sigma Oasis. The tour was postponed for one year due to Covid-19, and will resume in July 2021 with dates across the US and a stop at the Forum arena in Inglewood.

Phish formed in 1983 in Burlington, Vermont. The band consists of guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman, and keyboardist Page McConnell, all of whom perform vocals, with Anastasio as the lead vocalist.  They perform a blend of funk, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, folk, country, jazz, blues, bluegrass, and pop, and are best known for their epic, Grateful Dead-inspired jams. What started in college at the University of Vermont has amassed a loyal following over the years. All together, they have 16 albums under their belt and just as many live recordings.

This performance is sure to be an epic one, so grab your tickets and see the greatest jam band around!
