LA-based dream pop outfit TV Girl are playing at the infamous Roxy on June 11, 2021. The performance will be part of their 6 and ½ year anniversary of their debut album French Exit Tour, and will include opening indie pop rising artist Jordana.
Comprised of members Brad Petering, Jason Wyman and Wyatt Harmon, TV Girl released their debut album French Exit in 2014 after amassing followers on Bandcamp. Their sound is dreamy and nostalgic, and would fit in perfectly in a film noir scene. It’s a mix of dreamy indie-pop, electronica and rock with lyrics that typically create powerful female narratives. Since their debut release, TV Girl have produced two more albums including Who Really Cares and Death of a Party Girl as well as a single and an EP. They’ve also just released outtakes from their original release entitled The Night in Question: French Exit Outtakes.
If you’re closer to the OC, or just don’t want to wait until June, TV Girl will also make a stop at the Constellation Room inside the OC Observatory on May 19, 2021. Their performance is sure to be a memorable night of dreamy tunes to dance and sway to, so be sure to grab your tickets.
