Three Chances to see Ty Segall Live at the Teragram Ballroom 9/10, 11, 12, 2021

Garage-psych rocker Ty Segall is coming to the Teragram Ballroom for three dates: September 10, 11 and 12 in 2021. The SoCal native is known for his prolific and diverse work in his solo career and his many collaborations. Since launching his solo act, Segall has put out dozens of albums and seems to have no shortage of new material in sight. His musical style can be as introspective as John Lennon’s and as fast and heavy as Thee Oh Sees’. But regardless, his singing and songwriting is uniquely Ty Segall.

Side projects like Fuzz and Gøggs and the more recent Wasted Shirt (with Lightning Bolt’s Brian Chippendale) showcase Segall’s heavier, stoner metal side. His frequent collaborators and band members include Charles Moothart, Mikal Cronin and Emmett Kelly. He’s recorded with the legendary Steve Albini and also produced plenty of recorded covers from T. Rex to Funkadelic and more. In 2018, Segall also released an album under a new project called The CIA with his wife Denée Segall. That was his sixth album he collectively released in 2018 alone. He’s known for putting out multiple albums per year, so it’s hard to keep up with Segall’s full discography since music seems to just pour endlessly from him. Segall also recently collaborated with Wand’s Cory Hanson, teasing two new singles “She’s a Beam” and “Milk Bird Flyer.”

In addition to Segall’s solo dates at the Teragram, his side project Fuzz will also perform at this venue for three dates this year, December 3, 4 and 5. Fuzz recently announced their first new album in five years and released the heavy, ’70s rock inspired single “Returning.”

You’ll have three opportunities to catch Ty Segall at the Teragram, but two of Fuzz’s dates are already sold out, so don’t wait!
