Grammy nominated artist Logic has two important announcements that together have a bittersweet message. Logic has just announced the release date of his sixth studio album, July 24, along with news of his retirement.
Logic has just recently became a father of his son with his wife Brittany Noell. He has announced that his retirement is so that he will be able to spend more time with his family. Logic says “It has been a great decade, now it’s time to be a great father,” in his Instagram announcement. Last year in July, Logic had a music video called “Homicide,” where Chris D’Elia raps as Eminem in a comedic way.
The new album is titled No Pressure, and has been produced by No I.D. Logic had mentioned in the latter of 2019 that he was going to be creating a sequel to his album Under Pressure. Logic said in September of 2019, after the announcement that he was working on a new project, ““It talks a lot about really dope shit. It’s very hip-hop and very dope, but not like my album Young Sinatra 4, which is kinda boom-bap hip-hop. This one is more modern hip-hop.”
After Logic made the announcement of the new album in the works in September of 2019, he released a track in October of 2019. The track is titled “OCD” and features artist DWN2EARTH, and touches on the struggles that Logic has faced throughout his career.
