The Aquabats are Coming to Save Us! Catch Them Live at the Pacific Amphitheatre 7/24/21

OC hometown heroes The Aquabats are coming to Costa Mesa’s Pacific Amphitheatre on July 24, 2021. They’ll be accompanied by Two-Tone Ska legends The English Beat and Oingo Boingo cover band Dead Man’s Party. This incredible combo is sure to get you dancing and singing along to some high-energy performances!

Hailing from Huntington Beach, CA, The Aquabats formed in 1994 as crime-fighting ska/punk superheroes. Their live performance is a sight to behold and typically includes a floorshow of the band fighting villains on stage while donning superhero costumes. While the lineup has fluctuated since their inception, singer The MC Bat Commander aka Christian Jacobs and bassist Crash aka Chad McLarson have carried the torch throughout the years.

In their formative years, The Aquabats were an eight-piece ska group with their sights on becoming the next Devo. Their sound shifted over the years toward a playful pop-punk – after all, it was the era of The Offspring and blink-182 (which Aquabats drummer Travis Barker would later join, as we knew). Since then, the band have released a total of five studio albums, two extended plays, one compilation and one soundtrack album. Three of their albums have charted on the Billboard 200, including The Fury of The Aquabats!, Hi-Five Soup! and their 2019 album The Aquabats! Super Show! Television Soundtrack: Volume One. Their sixth studio album, Kooky Spooky…In Stereo, is scheduled for release this August 2020.

Catch what is sure to be a memorable performance with three upbeat acts at the expansive Pacific Amphitheatre!
