The Strokes Perform Live in this “New Abnormal” at The Forum 5/15/21

The Strokes are heading out on an international tour tour this fall and are stopping at The Forum on May 15, 2021. Special guests King Princess and Canadian indie darlings Alvvays will join them for what’s sure to be an incredible performance.

The highly beloved New York garage rock band fronted by Julian Casablancas recently released a new album, The New Abnormal, their first new release in seven years. Expect a concert jam-packed with Strokes classics and new songs that’ll fit seamlessly into their setlist.

Their debut album Is This It gained them international success and critical acclaim, and their following albums Room on Fire and First Impressions of Earth were just as successful. Both Casablancas and guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. pursued solo projects during The Strokes’ seven-year hiatus, playing in festivals and shows with their new groups. Julian Casablancas and The Voidz have a strong following as well, headlining festivals in the past like  Beach Goth.

The announcement of their latest album The New Abnormal came during a Bernie Sanders rally, where they performed new songs off the album including “Bad Decisions.” The album is a return to the band’s original sound and ’80s new wave nostalgia. Catch these indie garage-rock legends in action at this larger-than-life venue!
