The Fratellis Are Coming to Theatre of Living Arts on January 30

The Fratellis are a 3-part Scottish rock group that has been on the scene since their formation in 2005. They are fittingly named the Fratellis because they are all brothers sharing the last name Fratelli. They named the group after their own names but it is based on the criminal family, The Fratellis, in the famous movie The Goonies. The lineup is as follows: Jon Fratelli (lead vocals/guitar/piano), Barry “Baz” Fratelli (bass/backing vocals) and Mince Fratelli (drums/percussion/backing vocals).

To date, The Fratellis have released a total of five full-length studio albums. Their very first album release, titled Costello Music (2006), was hugely successful and is still their best-performing and highest-selling project. What better way to kick off a band’s career than starting with an album that has 1,100,00+ sales in the UK and is certified 3x platinum in the UK as well. They were scheduled to release their next album, Half Drunk Under a Full Moon, on May 8th of this year. However, it’s release has been pushed back and the album is expected to be released sometime this year. Keep a lookout for their new album and get your tickets now for when they come to TLA on January 30.
