Southern singer-songwriter Jason Isbell is heading out on tour next July with the 400 Unit and special guest Lucinda Williams. The tour will make a stop the the Greek Theatre on July 27, 2021. Both Isbell and Williams released new albums in May 2020, Isbell and the 400 Units’ Reunions and Williams’ Good Souls Better Angels, so expect sets filled with some great new music.
Jason Isbell spent six years as a member of the Sourthern rock outfit Drive-By Truckers and left the group in 2007 to pursue his solo career. Since then, he has become one of the most celebrated artists in the Americana and roots music scene, with seven successful albums under his belt. Isbell released his latest album Reunions on May 15, 2020. The album is filled with introspective songs about politics and social concerns.
Like Isbell, singer-songwriter Lucinda Williams is also fresh off a new release, Man Without a Soul, a “stripped down and often rollicking effort that included the fierce political broadside, ‘Man Without a Soul.'” Catch this powerful duo live in performance and get inspired to dust off your guitar and create your own politically-infused songs!
