Ministry Is Coming to Franklin Music Hall on April 17

Originally slated to perform on July 18, 2020, Ministry has rescheduled their tour and will now be coming through to Philly on April 17, 2021. This industrial metal band was founded in Chicago, Illinois back in 1981. Originally formed by producer, singer, and musician Al Jourgensen, many members have come in and out since — 22 past members to be exact. Their current lineup is as follows: Al Jourgensen (a little bit of everything), John Bechdel (keyboards), Sin Quirin (guitars), Cesar Soto (guitar, vocals), Paul D’Amour (bass) and London May (drums).

In total, they have released 14 full length studio albums along with a large collection of live albums, EPs and singles. Their first release came in 1983 called With Sympathy but they wouldn’t experience real commercial success until their 1988 album The Land of Rape and Honey. This album is gold certified and sold over 520,000 copies in the US. Their next two albums were gold and platinum certified in that order. I would highly recommend you check out this platinum certified 1992 album, Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs. After you jam out to that, go get your tickets below!
