Emo Night Brooklyn to Share the Celebration of Pop Punk Music @ The Parish 7/31

There’s no better place to gather with other like-minded souls for a night of dancing and raging together than Emo Night Brooklyn. The event was created by Ethan Maccoby and Alex Badanes, DJs and best friends who grew up embracing the pop punk music scene. The two wanted to make a space where others could enjoy a whole night of the experience, singing and dancing along to all their favorite songs that just never get old and celebrating the magic of nostalgia through music.

Emo Night Brooklyn started out in a basement bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and became a popular monthly event for New Yorkers. Since then, it has grown exponentially over the years and now Maccoby and Badanes bring the party to several cities around the world! The guys have even managed to snag  guest performances/DJ sets from punk/emo music icons including William Beckett of The Academy Is, Derek Sanders of Mayday Parade and Jordan Pundik of New Found Glory to name a few. Maccoby and Badanes have also released three of their own singles, drawing inspiration from the genre. Ryan Key of Yellowcard produced and co-wrote their first single “Back in Time”.

With a motto like “Scream. Dance. Rage. Repeat”, Emo Night Brooklyn is a party like no other and encompasses the fashion, the art and the music we all once loved and still do. Don’t miss when they bring the party to Austin at The Parish on Friday, July 31st!
