Tiffany Majette, better known as Orion Sun, was born in New Jersey before moving to Philadelphia later on. As a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Orion Sun is a multi-faceted and talented artist. Known for her planetary love songs, Orion Sun’s discography is full of songs that’ll make you fall in love, fall in love with life, and more. Growing up, Orion Sun drew inspiration from artists like Lauryn Hill and later Kanye West. And somehow, the magic she describes they have, she has the same magic as them too. She first dropped her mixtape, A Collection of Fleeting Moments and Daydreams, in 2017. Most recently, Orion Sun has released her debut album, Hold Space for Me, a masterpiece documenting her own trials with love, loss, and everything in between.
Since her newest release in 2020, Orion Sun bares her soul on tracks like “Ne Me Quitte Pas (Don’t Leave Me)” and “Lightning”. And on December 1st, Orion Sun will bare her soul to an audience at Cafe du Nord, an iconic Market Street speakeasy known for their live shows and electric ambiance. The would-be astronaut will fulfill her own dreams of touching the sky and reaching for the stars, all while an audience watches. Be sure to continue to follow Orion Sun on her reach for the sky and follow MXDWN for all your music updates.
