Great News! Dave Hause and his band The Mermaid have rescheduled their Philly date to August 8. Dave Hause is a born and bred Philadelphian so it’s great to see that he’ll still be filling up Union Transfer when he comes back to town. He’s played in multiple Philly-based bands before The Mermaid, including Loved Ones, The Falcon, and Step Ahead. Hause has released a total of four solo projects during his career. His latest LP came in 2019, titled Kick.
Hause and The Mermaid have only been together since 2017. Before then, Hause used to perform his solo material by himself or with one other person. However, for his 2017 album, Bury Me In Philly, he put together a band that would accompany him on tour. Once again, The Mermaid will accompany Hause on his nationwide tour across the country. I don’t know about you but I’m excited to see some real Philly pride when Hause and The Mermaid come to town on August 8th. The show is at 8:30
