Kraftwerk Will Be Lighting Up The Met July 30th

Kraftwerk, the German electro synth-pop band, have maintained an incredible presence in the electronic music scene since their formation all the way back in 1970. They are considered innovators and founders, helping to form the genre that is electronic music. During their 50 (that’s right 50) years under the name Kraftwerk, countless members have come in and out and their style has often shifted throughout the years. Their most successful albums have been described as “robot pop” and have a very distinct style. With their matching outfits, they can be described as an early version of Daft Punk.

They have experienced great success across the globe, and they are certified gold and silver in both Britain and France. In addition to pure musical ability and creativity, their visuals and live performances are equally impressive. Their 3-D live sets, as they call them, can’t be done justice with words on a page. You have to see Kraftwerk live as this may be your last chance. Catch them when they come to town on July 30th. This is not your typical concert, it is truly an experience that transcends the norm for most live shows. Get your tickets while you can! The show is at 8:00
