Electronic music has definitely become one of the most popular genres of today. Self-proclaimed “robot pop” band Kraftwerk set the stage for the electronic music movement of today back when they formed in 1970. Kraftwerk creates innovative music that fully encompasses the digital age with a robotic dance sound. The release of their 1974 album Autobahn scored them international recognition and success and they have since released nine more studio albums. Their 3-D live performances are unlike any other with visuals that will make you feel like you’re in the Tron movie or like you’ve walked into a portal that has taken you deep into the future. Their unique computerized sound has had an influence on many popular genres of today including hip hop and techno.  After 50 years in the making Kraftwerk are still kicking it and going strong! Don’t miss them at the Moody Theater for ACL Live this summer.
