Collective Soul Is Coming to Levitt Pavilion on June 15

Collective Soul is an alternative rock band hailing from Stockbridge, Georgia but are now based out of Atlanta. They have seen a decent amount of turnover with 5 former members, but their lineup currently consists of: Ed Roland (vocals), Dean Roland (guitar), Will Turpin (bass), Johnny Rabb (drums) and Jesse Triplett (guitar). This group, not consisting of this lineup, was formed back in 1992, releasing their debut studio album that same year titled Hints Allegations and Things Left Unsaid. They quickly began to receive attention from all around the country and the world when their song Shine from that album blew up. It is still their most streamed song on Spotify with 70 million plays. The album was re-released in 1994 after signing to Atlantic Records.

They hit the ball out of the park with their next album, a sophomore self-titled album that many consider to be their true debut album. This LP stayed on the Billboard 200 for 76 weeks and went triple platinum. They have 4 platinum albums and they are still coming out with new music. Their most recent release came in 2019 called Blood, which reached number 4 on the US independent albums chart.
