The Fader Announces Nine-Hour Broadcast of Digital Fader Fort Live Stream

Popular hip hop magazine The FADER has announced its website will be hosting a nine hour broadcast of Fader Fort, a showcase that is usually held at SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Due to the cancellation of the festival this year, FADER has decided to change the format of the concert, and hold digital stream of the usually invite-only event that will take place on Tuesday, March 31st, from 10 AM – 7 PM EST. Head to Digital Fort for all of the content.

While the line up of Fader Fort has not yet been announced, over forty artists are expected to be apart of the show. Both establish artists and rising up and comers are expected to be part of the Fader Fort lineup. Furthermore, fans will have the opportunity during the show to donate money for various charities that focus on helping the city and people of Austin, as well as musicians and the entertainment industry on the whole during this global crisis.

Fans can expect artists to provide more than just musical performances; Kesha will hold a remire for the first cut of the intro of her “My Crazy Beautiful Life” documentary, Guapdad 4000 will give fans a cooking demo as Gordon Scamsey in a “Cooking with Flava” segment, G Herbo plans to hold a segment showing a behind-the-scenes look into his tour, as well as many more special segments such as these.

Drew Feinerman: I have just completed my senior at the University of Michigan majoring in international studies with an emphasis in political economics and development, with a minor in Chinese language and culture, and I have recently been accepted into the Berklee School of Music's masters of music business program. Although my academic interests include economics, political science, and history, I consider music to be my one true passion. Music is, and has always been, a driving force for the way I think and act every day of my life. I have been playing the tenor saxophone since the age of ten, and playing an instrument at a high level has allowed me to only further my understanding and appreciation for music. While I grew up listening to predominantly classic rock, I soon found myself gravitating toward jazz, hip-hop, funk, and other genres, as my learned to both play and analyze music as a listener. As a writer, I am able to apply my skills both as a musician and a listener, and look forward to the opportunity to being able to express my thoughts on various stories in the music industry.
