Jimmy Eat World is a rock band out of Mesa, Arizona that formed back in 1993. The founding members were Jim Adkins (guitar, vocals), Zach Lind (drums), Tom Lind (guitar, vocals), and Mitch Porter (bass). Unlike many groups, there hasn’t been a lot of turnover and the lineup has stayed the same since Porter left in 1995 and they picked up their new bassist Rick Burch that same year. Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 1994, they have released nine other studio albums. Their commercial breakthrough, however, took place in 2001 with the release of several successful singles from the album Bleed American charting on the top twenty of the Alternative Songs chart. Their most well-known single from that albums was Middle, which has over 300 million streams on Spotify
They will be playing alongside the Front Bottoms during this tour. This folk punk band hails from New Jersey, bringing an incredibly unique sound with them. They are true folk punk and extremely raw. I first was introduced to them through a tiny desk video and I loved their style and sound immediately with the song Au Revoir (Adios). The group consists of Brian Sella (vocals, guitar), Mat Uychich (drums), and Tom Warren (guitar, vocals). They were only formed in 2006 so they are very young, with unlimited potential and ability. They will be performing alongside the amazing Jimmy Eat World, so make sure to get your tickets for this amazing lineup and show.
