Melanie Martinez Performing for ACL Live at The Moody Theater 7/12

The charismatic art pop singer/songwriter Melanie Martinez is coming to Austin with a performance for ACL Live on Sunday, July 12th. Doors to this all ages show open at 6:30pm and the show will begin an hour and a half later at 8pm with an opening performance by electronic dance artist Sub Urban. You can purchase general admission tickets now for $50.50 at the lowest price.

Melanie Martinez is a storyteller through her music, tapping into the pains of adolescence and the struggles of self-expression. You may remember seeing her smooth cover of Britney Spears’s “Toxic” when she appeared on NBC’s The Voice back in 2012. Despite not winning in the singing competition, Martinez began working on her own material leading to her 2015 debut album release of Cry Baby. A few years later, Martinez’s next album was in the works as a continuation of the life of her main character she had created, Cry Baby. The album K-12 was released in 2019 accompanied by a full-length film exploring the grade-school experiences of the character and the need for escape.

Catch Melanie Martinez and her artistic expression of life, love and pain live at The Moody Theater this summer!
