The Teragram Ballroom is an absolute treasure. Finding a good punk venue usually isn’t very hard, especially in LA, but finding a great punk venue that does more than just give small guys a platform, and instead perfectly balances popular punk and rock groups along with smaller bands looking for a start, well that’s basically impossible.
Luckily for LA, the Teragram Ballroom figured out a way to accomplish this impossible task. In the past year they’ve played host to incredible groups like Knocked Loose, Terror, and Idles, and that doesn’t even begin to dig into their ridiculously deep back catalog of concert hostings.
This coming June, provided people are allowed to gather in large groups again, Fuzz will be taking over the Teragram Ballroom. To those who don’t know, Fuzz is Charles Moothart (vocals, guitar), Ty Segall (vocals, drums) and Chad Ubovich (vocals, bass), and serves as a location for each of these respected musicians to let out their experimental side.
As expected, things get pretty fuzzy at a Fuzz show. Screaming guitars and sizzling feedback are mainstays at any performance, and earplugs are an absolute must, unless of course you have a thing for searing ear pain.
A Fuzz show is a completely unique experience that brings extreme sounds and vicious energy to an absolute peak. Few concerts can even come close to the pure intensity that Fuzz brings, and we have no doubt that the Teragram Ballroom will let them unleash that intensity at full force.
