Purity Ring Performing for Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater 5/7

Canadian dreampop duo Purity Ring will be hitting the stage for Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater on Thursday, May 7th as part of their tour de womb. The event is for all ages with doors set to open at 5:30pm and the show to start at 8pm. You can purchase general admission tickets now for $31.

Purity Ring is the electro-pop music project of Megan James and Corin Roddick who create a unique form of future pop that makes you feel like you are up in space on another planet. They are known for having a display of enthralling lights during their live performances and complementing each other well through the construction of their music. The duo formed officially in 2010 and released their debut album Shrines two years later featuring the track “Ungirthed”. Their second album Another Eternity was released in 2015 and contained more hip-hop, dance-based elements. Purity Ring are embarking on tour in support of their newest work titled WOMB beginning in May. The album touches on finding comfort in all the inevitable uncertainty, a personal testament to helping one another face the events of an everchanging world. The transcendent WOMB is set to be released on April 3rd.

Purity Ring are mystical performers with a stunning live stage presence so if you have plans to see them this May you’re in for an epic experience!
