This Australian Heavy Metal band out of New South Wales has been on the scene since their formation in 2003. Their lineup has been relatively consistent, and has stayed the same since 2006 with the addition of bassist Jia O’Connor. Their current lineup is Winston McCall (vocals), Jeff Ling (guitar), Luke “Pig” Kilpatrick (guitar), Ben “Gaz” Gordon (drums), and O’Connor, who also goes by “Pie”. They have released a total of 6 studio albums, 1 EP, as well as DVD’s and a split album. Their style has been described as metalcore and heavy metal, with all the trademark sounds of screaming vocals, long guitar riffs, and breakdowns.
They have had an incredible upward trajectory, amassing a large and loyal fanbase over the years, starting with their debut album, Killing With a Smile (2005). They are incredibly popular in their home country of Australia, with 4 of their 5 albums reaching the top 6 on the Australian charts (ARIA). Their latest two albums, Ire (2015) and Reverence (2018), reached number 1. In addition, 5 of their albums are certified gold in Australia — they are a highly acclaimed group, and for good reason.
