Bat For Lashes Live at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, Los Angeles

Bat for Lashes just played an incredibly elegant and intimate set at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles in support of her new album “Lost Girls.” The beautiful gothic interior of the venue amplified the already regal, yet extremely raw and vulnerable atmosphere of the show, with songs being stripped down to the acoustic minimum. The first half of the set consisted of the songs from the new album, followed by her older works, including “Joe’s Dream” and “Close Encounters,” and the night was finished with a beautiful cover of “I Drove All Night.” It truly was a special and most fitting show for Valentine’s Day.
