Get Dark with Cold Waves at the Wax Trax! Showcase

As much as there are bands associated with certain genres and styles, there are perhaps even more labels that are the sole keepers of an entire style of music. While the style that Wax Trax! records has been championing for decades does not exist entirely within their walls, there’s a powerful case to be made that they are the strongest proponent of dark, industrial techno still putting out records today.

On September 24th and 25th at the stunning Mayan Theater in Downtown Los Angeles, Cold Waves, a Chicago based dark music festival, which has showcased acts like My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, The Black Queen, OHGR and Frontline Assembly, will be hosting a Wax Trax! LA Showcase featuring Front 242, The Young Gods, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Paul Barker & Chris Connelly with special guest Delilah Domino as Divine and DJ Danny Lethal (Lethal Amounts).

In addition to the aforementioned acts, there will be an official Wax Trax! pop-up store with Wax Trax! collectables & merch including original vinyl, test pressings, vintage posters, CDs, t-shirts & more. Should you spring for the VIP tickets (which you should) they will come with Early entry for private meet n greet with all performers, Cold Waves 2020 comp CD, poster + laminate, Balcony access w/ VIP table seating and early access to Wax Trax! pop-up store exclusives. So make sure to act fast and fill the hole in your heart with a little more darkness.
