GIRLSCHOOL Brings Interdisciplinary Show to Los Angeles on 2/22 and 2/23

Music is often pulled away from the art that it is so closely intertwined with. Sometimes we see it meaningfully integrate with cinema but this is only because a film without music is either awful or deeply experimental. Luckily the forward thinking GIRLSCHOOL LA festival has always brought big ideas and a lot of them out to the forefront of their festival.

When in comes to pushing boundaries, L.A. has always been a supportive town. But as much as we are supportive we are equally restless and that restlessness often requires a new approach to shows and artistic expression over short periods of time. This ethos is what lead to IDEALAB.4 “RE/BIRTH” a two day show at Hot Shot Muffler in LA on 2/22 and 2/23.

IDEALAB.4 is more than just a concert, it’s an interdisciplinary performance exploring the idea of regeneration, fundamental change, and new beginnings as told through the works of Anna Wise. The show is sure to push the limits of what a concert, art installation, and multimedia experience can be.

The suggested attendance donation is $30 dollars, and the show will feature multiple artists, including Anna Wise and her partner Jon Bap. Don’t miss out on what is destined to be one of the most unique shows in LA this year.
