Brandi Carlile Takes the Stage at the Palladium

There are many roads to stardom, the one chosen by Brandi Carlile was… not the easiest path, but she is here nonetheless, and after nearly two decades of making music, she’s finally receiving the popularity she deserves. Luckily for her that well deserved popularity came with a couple of Grammy awards and an amazing billing at the Hollywood Palladium. Maybe in her case the harder path did end up being the one worth taking.

Carlile began making music commercially sometime early in the 2000’s and immediately found success within her genre, reaching number one on the folk charts. However her major success began in 2007 with her release of “The Story” which saw her obtain her first number one single and increased her popularity outside of the United States as well.

Recently Carlile has enjoyed critical as well as commercial success both as a solo artist and as a part of the excellent country group The Highwomen. Her popularity reached a crescendo in early 2019 when she won a Grammy Award for her record By the Way I Forgive You and her single “The Joke.”

While Los Angeles has never been much of a country town, they’ve been more than happy to embrace Carlile, and her fellow Highwomen, with massive ticket sales, word of mouth buzz and critical acclaim. So tickets are likely to go fast, grab them quickly if they aren’t already gone.
