Joywave Is Performing At Union Transfer April 24

Formed in 2010, Joywave is an indie rock band coming out of Rochester, New York. The band consists of Daniel Armbruster (vocals), Joseph Morinelli (guitar), Benjamin Bailey (keyboards), and Paul Brenner (drums). They first broke onto the scene and became well-known for their collaboration with Big Data, an electronic music project created by producer Alan Wilkis. The single that was released, titled Dangerous, peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs Chart in 2014.

The group currently have 2 albums out: How Do You Feel Now (2015) and Content (2017). Their debut LP, How Do You Feel Now, reached #25 on the Billboard Alternative Albums chart and #34 on the Top Rock Albums chart. Their next album, Content, reached #8 on the US Heatseekers Albums chart. Joywave’s unique vocalization and clear musical ability and talent, as well as songwriting capabilities, have been on full display for years now. Their upcoming album, Possession, is slated to be released on March 13. The album is heavily anticipated by many fans, and they gave us a first listen of the album with the high tempo and upbeat single, Half Your Age. This 2020 tour will be promoting this upcoming album, and if their track record is any indication, this album will be sure to rock the house at Union Transfer on April 24. Get your tickets now!
