Black Label Society Announce Rescheduled Obituary & Lord Dying Tour Dates

For Los Angeles-based heavy metal band, Black Label Society, music label restructuring may have been the cause of an announced tour that was canceled back in October. As of this past Wednesday December 11th, that initial tour run will be rescheduled for early 2020.  As previously reported on The Prp, in early October along with heavy metal heavy hitters Obituary and Lord Dying were to embark on a North American tour, but “Black Label Society’s current label situation has a potential question mark around it as their latest home of eOne Music was acquired by U.S. toy company Hasbro this past August. It is currently unclear what plans Hasbro has for the label, which was acquired as part of a larger deal involving eOne’s overall assets.”

According to a latest development by The PRP, the originally announced tour run will commence February 26 in Tucson, Arizona and wrap up March 28 in Hartford, Connecticut. The current touring roster for Black Label Society includes frontman Zakk Wylde (lead vocals and guitar/piano), Dario Lorina (rhythm guitar/backing vocals), John DeServio (bass/backing vocals) and Jeff Fabb (drums). For Relapse Records’ Tampa, Florida-based metal band, Obituary, their current lineup includes John Tardy (lead vocals), Kenny Andrews (lead guitar), Terry Butler (bass), Trevor Peres (rhythm guitar) and Donald Tardy (bass). As for Lord Dying, also signed to eOne, original members includes Erik Olson (vocals/guitar) and Chris Evans (guitar).
