Shaky Boots Music Festival Announces 2020 Lineup Featuring John Prine, Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker

Shaky Boots is back and has revealed the lineup for its 2020 edition next spring. The two-day festival is set to take place May 8-9 at Central Park in downtown Atlanta, GA. Brandi Carlile and Dierk Bentley are set to headline with other acts including John Prine, Alison Krauss, Gary Allan, Dwight Yoakam, Jamey Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Clint Black. See the rest of the lineup below. Passes will go on sale Wednesday, December 11 at 10 am EST

Shaky Boots founder, Tim Sweetwood.“I’m thrilled to be bringing back Shaky Boots Festival in 2020. I have always felt that Georgia needed a music festival that spans across the multiple genres embedded within Country music, and Shaky Boots aims to do just that. There will definitely be something for everyone.” The last Shaky Boots took place in 2015 and featured performances from Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Dwight Yoakam, Sara Evans, the Band Perry, Dierks Bentley and Kristian Bush.

Headliner Brandi Carlile recently made headlines by deciding to opt-out of this year’s Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington DC after realizing that former homeland security secretary Kirstjen Nielsen will be a speaker at the event. In a statement released via Twitter, she stated “I don’t think that human rights violators and merit-based abusers of displaced people should be given a platform to ‘reimagine’ history. Ever.” It shortly followed with “The atrocity of family separation at our Southern border needs to go down in history as one of the United States of America’s most merciless acts. Respectfully, I absolutely cannot support Kirstjen Nielsen having a voice among the most powerful and inspiring women in America. Her access to power is righteously over.”
