Hovvdy Live at at Rough Trade Brooklyn, New York City

Indie duo Hovvdy kicked off their Heavy Lifter tour earlier this year in their hometown of Austin, Texas on October 18th. The tour was in support of their newest album Heavy Lifter which was released on the same day that month. The band recently hit New York City with a show at Rough Trade in Brooklyn.

The crowed at Rough Trade was buzzing with anticipation waiting for Hovvdy to take the stage. The Brooklyn venue was packed during both opening bands. Caroline Says started off the night and Kevin Krauter followed. Caroline Says returned to the stage during Hovvdy’s set providing vocals, keys and guitar. “Cathedral” the lead single from “Heavy Lifter” was a crowd favorite of the night.
