After a five year hiatus, the Irish singer will be hitting the New York concert scene not one or two times, but five times. The shows will all be located at the Hammerstein Ballroom from November 21, 2019, to November 26, 2019. The only date that is not included will be November 24th. This all-age show will open doors at 7:00 PM, while the opening act will enter the stage around 8:00 PM. The prices do vary depending on the day you attend, but the cheapest ticket shown does start at $85.00.
With the combination of his raspy voice and wonderful instrumentals, Hozier was able to find incredible success with his 2014 hit song “Take Me to Church.” Everywhere you went, this song was being played, and you can’t honestly blame anyone for it. This song was rare for pop music, it attracted everyone. He was able to receive multiple award nominations including a Grammy and even taking home a few Billboard Awards. Ever since 2014, Hozier has not released a full-length album, until March of this year.
Wasteland, Baby! is the title of Hozier’s second studio album. It is filled with fourteen tracks that have incredible vocals and instrumentals that will make you feel like you need to listen to it live. Hozier brings the genre of Alternative, Rock, and Gospel and is able to create a piece of work that will be considered legendary in a few years. This is the album that your kids will discover in twenty years and would start wishing that they were apart of our generation.
Hozier was generous enough to set five concert dates, and if you want to be able to listen to songs with wonderful melodies and a great voice, this show should not be missed.
