Tecate P’al Norte has announced its 2020 lineup featuring The Strokes, Tame Impala and Foster The People, who will perform at the Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Mexico for two days from March 20 to March 21. The festival will host over one hundred acts across eight stages hosting artists from multiple Latin, electronic, rock and pop genres.
Other prominent performers that are included on the festival’s lineup include indie pop band MGMT, rapper Iggy Azalea, pop punk band Sum 41, ranchero legend Alejandro Fernandez, reggaeton legend Daddy Yankee and Latin pop singer Juanes. The festival will provide an extensive variety of urban food, local crafts, and games in addition to the music performances.
The Strokes are also going to be attending prominent festivals in South America next year, with performances at Lollapalooza Brasil and Lollapalooza Chile. The also headlined the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City earlier this year alongside the likes of The Raconteurs and Billie Eilish.
Tame Impala recently announced a new album entitle The Slow Rush, which is set to be released on February 14th via Interscope records. They also debuted a new track entitled “It Might Be Time,” which shows a hint of the band’s development from their previous releases.
“A lot of the songs carry this idea of time passing, of seeing your life flash before your eyes, being able to see clearly your life from this point onwards,” Kevin Parker the mastermind behind Tame Impala explaned.”I’m being swept by this notion of time passing. There’s something really intoxicating about it.”
