Desert Sparrow Asks “Can Rhys Darby Find Bigfoot?” in Hilarious New Music Video for “Karma”

LA-based duo Desert Sparrow has released their song “Karma” along with its accompanying visual. The new track is an empowering theme for friends leaving toxic relationships. In its hilarious video, Flight of the Conchords’ Rhys Darby is an eccentric explorer and conspiracy theorist willing to put his marriage on the line for his Bigfoot pursuit. The band’s label GroundSounds attest that their “punchy indie-rock provides the perfect soundtrack” to Darby’s dual search for validation both romantically and paranormally. “Karma” is their first single of the year, with their last being 2018’s Drive.” The duo is composed of Kylie Adams and Dave Carreno. Their sound has been described as an aseclectic love for ‘60s rock n’ roll, folk, spaghetti westerns, and surf rocky. Adams and Carreno began playing together in 2011.  After a performance at for Adams’ father, the band continued their momentum to write and produce great songs. have released two EP’s so far, with a debut album yet to be announced.
