Metal band Cult of Luna have unveiled their first set of winter 2020 tour dates, which will be supported by Emma Ruth Rundle and Intronaut. This tour will begin in Dallas, Texas on February 25th, and will make stops in New York City, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles before ending in Mexico City.
his latest tour is also in support of the band’s most recent studio album A Dawn To Fear, which was released last month. Cult of Luna premiered music video for “Lay Your Head to Rest,” as well, which followed up from the themes and story present in their previous video for “The Silent Man.”
“For pretty much every album there’s been a very concrete theme. We’ve known from the start the kind of story we wanted to tell, and I didn’t want that to be the case,” vocalist, guitarist, and lead songwriter Johannes Persson said regarding the album. “I’ve seen a lot of subtle changes and patterns in my own behavior and my own thinking the last couple of years, and I wanted this to be a completely spontaneous process. I just wanted to see what came out of me, and A Dawn To Fear is the result of that.”
Last month Emma Ruth Rundle released a music video entitled “You Don’t Have To Cry,” which was featured on her album Dark Horses. This single, and the album were listed in our top 50 songs, and top 50 albums of the year for 2018 respectively.
