Intersect Festival, which is set to be held from December 6 to 7 in Las Vegas, Navada has just announced its inaugural line-up featuring Foo Fighters, Beck, Kacey Musgraves, and Anderson .Paak.  as prominent headliners. Numerous other artists such as Brandi Carlile, Flying Lotus, Spoon, CHVRCHES, Jamie XX, Thundercat, Leon Bridges, Kaytranada, H.E.R., Gesaffelstein, and Unknown Mortal Orchestra have also been confirmed for the festival, while more will be confirmed in the near future.

This festival will be held on the Las Vegas strip right next to the Stratosphere, and is set to feature an entirely unique sensory experience that is unique to the festival. This experience will be supported by a 1 million square foot   custom-built sensory playground, featuring an immersive dome, megastructures, arcade, with innovative art throughout the grounds.

Foo Fighters have had a busy year, performing at numerous music festivals throughout the US, with even some of the band’s members such as Chris Shifflet, engaging in some solo tours. Members of the  group have also performed at various tribute shows, such as one for Chris Cornell earlier this year, and Dimebash 2019 as well. The band’s frontman Dave Grohl performed “Walk” by Pantera, “Love Gun” by KISS and “This Love” by Pantera at Dimebash 2019 with various other musicians at the festival.

Chvrches Lauren Mayberry and Jamey Jasta had a recent discussion on social media, regarding Chvrches billing for the Deftones music festival. Jasta had originally ridiculed their billing, as their placement was above metal bands such as Gojira.

“Just because someone plays or listens to “pop music” doesn’t mean they don’t understand or appreciate other things.”Mayberry explained on social media, continuing with “Deftones curated the lineup so I don’t know how that speaks to problems with The Music Industry. I think it’s important and powerful that they promote the idea of a diverse community and try to bridge gaps instead of being guided by limiting, antiquated ideas about genre.”

Anderson .Paak released his third studio album Venutra, earlier this year, which was a departure from the style and braggadocio of his previous studio album Oxnard. The album focused more heavily on the artist’s R&B, featuring a variety of unique throwbacks with features from legends such as Smokey Robinson and a posthumous feature from Nate Dogg.
