Prominent noise rock groups HEALTH and Daughters have just announced a recent co-headlining tour, which will also include a few select dates that will feature hardcore punk band Show Me The Body. The band’s first co-headline date will occur at the Fillmore in San Francisco, California on December 4th, and will conclude 17 days later at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts.
HEALTH released their most recent project Volume 4:: Slaves Of Fear, earlier this year which was noted for its blend of various noise, electronic and industrial music influences. Earlier they released HATE YOU featuring JPEG Mafia, their fourth single released since last September in “HATE YOU” is HEALTH’s fourth collaborative single since last September, following “Innocence” with Youth Code, “BODY/PRISON” with Perturbator, and the super stormy “MASS GRAVE” alongside Soccer Mommy’s Sophie Allison and Corin Roddick of Purity Ring.
“Regarding the evolution of Get Color to Death Magic : the current electronic music (at the time), or to be more precise, the production of electronic music: in the late 2000s, young kids who only used plugins to make music created, in terms of production, what was heavier, and it was a while since I had not seen such a paradigm shift, so we knew we had to evolve as well,” John Famiglietti, the band’s main figure said in recent interview. “About the change made between Death Magic and Vol.4 , now we have found our sound, and then we are in an era of post-algorithmic streaming.”
