Slipknot Unleash Gory New Video For “Solway Firth”

Slipknot has released a new song titled “Solway Firth” along with its accompanying music video. The new track will be a part of the band’s new highly anticipated LP WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND, and serves as the second single from the album, following “Unsainted.” The album is set for an Aug. 9 release date. The video was directed by bandmate M. Shawn Crahan and was created alongside UPROXX and Amazon Prime Video. According to Rolling Stone, they described the as gruesome, including Bloody scenes with a man holding two severed arms and one character bashing someone’s head into a bathroom sink. It also contains exclusive footage from the upcoming Amazon Original series The Boys. Check out the exclusive footage filled video below.

Along with the film release, the band will be heading out on tour the same day, kicking things off in North America July 26 in Mountain View, CA. The North American leg is a part of the Knotfest Roadshow with Volbeat, Gojira, and Behemoth, which will then conclude with two festival sets at Kentucky’s Louder than Life Festival and Sacramento’s Aftershock Festival. It will then head overseas to Australia with Metallica including stops in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, before concluding with two shows in Auckland, NZ Oct. 31 and Nov.2 See the full list of tour dates below.
