Natalie Mering, professionally known as Weyes Blood will be returning to Austin this Saturday, June 8th for her “Something to Believe” tour promoting her new album Titanic Rising.
Titanic Rising is her most ambitious and intricate work yet. Her fourth album to date, Titanic Rising is a romantic ode to living and loving in the wake of calamity. The album approaches modern-day problems through a deeply emotional lens. Mering arranges her sound similar to that of 1970s pop songwriters, although with a bit more optimism. Her instrumental tendencies ripple throughout the album, complementing her doomy analysis of the world around us.
The event will welcome all those 18+ and is set to begin at 8pm.
