North Carolina’s Hopscotch Music Festival has announced its stacked and diverse 2019 lineup. Sleater-Kinney, James Blake, Chvrches, and Phantogram are included on the bill. Other acts include Little Brother, Raphael Saadiq, Jenny Lewis, Kurt Vile & The Violators, and Purple Mountains. The festival will take place Sept.5-7 throughout Downtown Raleigh, NC in multiple venues. Passes for the festival will go on sale Thursday, May 23 at 10 am EST and will be available for purchase here. See the full lineup below.
The festival will also be celebrating its 10th anniversary, with this year including artist-curated bills. According to a press release, 10 North Carolina artists to curate bills across the weekend including Little Brother, Sarah Shook & The Disarmers, Birds of Avalon, Nest Egg, Resonancy, No Love, Solar Halos, Museum Mouth, Crowmeat Bob, and Gudiya. Full curated bills will be announced at a later date.
The festival has also provided eclectic and diverse lineups throughout the years. Last years lineup featured headlining sets from Miguel, Grizzly Bear, Belle & Sebastian and Thundercat. Past lineups have included Solange, Beach House, Erykah Badu, De La Soul, St. Vincent, and The Flaming Lips.
Festival performer Sleater-Kinney is slated to release a new album this year, with St. Vincent set to produce. An album title nor a release date have been announced.
