New York-based hardcore rock band Coheed and Cambria perform “The Gutter” in “Auto-Cappella,” which is a video show in website FreqsTV. In this show, host Randy M. Salo asks Coheed and Cambria to “get in the car and sing some of their songs totally a capella” without any instrumental accompaniment, Loudwire reports.
In the video, Frontman Claudio Sanchez, drummer Josh Eppard, guitarist Travis Stever and bassist Zach Cooper sing the vocals in a well-coordinated way in the car. The band perform “The Gutter” with their original voice and finish a “progressive” rock a cappella performance. Check out the segment streaming via YouTube.
“The Gutter” is a new track from Coheed and Cambria’s latest album The Unheavenly Creatures, a science-fiction-inspired album released last year. The band announced their 26-city The Unheavenly Skye Tour on February 12, co-headlined with Mastodon, and featuring special guests Every Time I Die. The tour embarks on May 28 in Louisville, Kentucky.
