Coheed and Cambria, the progressive rock band from New York, unleash their brand new single “Unheavenly Creatures.” The new song is the title track from their widely anticipated new LP, The Unheavenly Creatures, their eighth studio album and first at Roadrunner Records. Their new LP, filled with 15 songs reaching over 78 minutes in running time) is the first act in a brand new story arc.
The new track, “Unheavenly Creatures, streaming now via the Marvel website. Accompanied by a video directed by P.R. Brown. The clip released today takes fans inside the story’s opening chapters beginning with our two captured criminals (Creature and Colossus) as they walk through a ship on their way towards judgment. Blinking lights of red and blue fill the screen as we follow the characters on their journey whether they find death or redemption, we don’t know. Sanchez drew inspiration from Marvel comics and fans can see that through the video’s overall arc. There are good guys and bad guys and just like all marvel comics, we look forward to the next chapter.
