Sun Soaked Music Festival Announces 2019 Lineup Including Kaskade, Logic and Quinn XCII

The third annual Sun Soaked festival announced its 2019 lineup, featuring headliners Kaskade and Grammy nominated musician Logic. The festival used to be a one-day event, but this year the festivities will take place over two days, July 13 and 14. Sun Soaked is set to be a one-of-a-kind fan experience taking place in Long Beach, California.

Sun Soaked was born from Kaskade’s vision. His love of music coupled with his passion for the outdoors sparked the idea to create a festival welcoming sand, sun and ocean. In 2017 it started as event for 12,000 people and then evolved into an event with over 30,000 guests in 2019 after tickets sold out in nearly 30 minutes. This year Kaskade partnered with Live Nation and brought on Logic to help create a celebration that will set the standard for the summer of 2019. The grounds will have waterslides, san sculptures and shade features for attendees enjoyment. Additionally, Sun Soaked will host a week-long series of free community events leading up to the festival.

“We’re thrilled to support Kaskade’s vision for the newly expanded Sun Soaked Festival,” said Rich Best, Live Nation President of Booking – Los Angeles. “The two-day event is an idyllic summer weekend for the Long Beach community and beyond.”

About the festival, the multi Grammy award-nominated musician Kaskade said, “Sun Soaked is such a personal love letter from me to summer. I’ve never gotten over that feeling when you’re young and the days seem endless and you’re just cool and sunkissed dripping in sweat. Now I have the opportunity to add the perfect soundtrack for those moments, add some out-there visuals and party elements and stretch it out over a whole weekend. It’s my dream scenario, and if I can have the company of sun + sand lovers with me, then all the better.”

Other artists on the lineup include Quinn XCII, Brohug, CID, Aokay, Charly Jordan, Kendoll, Nox Vahn, Wenzday, Zaya and a special REDUX set from Kaskade.  Quinn XCII is making the festival sounds this summer, another event he is playing is the inaugural Super Mega Ultra Giant Mad Decent Block Party hosted by Diplo. The DJ/producer powerhouse trio from Sweden, Brohug, will bring the EDM scene to the festival. The New York native CID is best known for his remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness” and will bring the energy to the stage during his performance.

General sale ticketing begins at 11 AM on Thursday, May 9. For more information on the festival visit SunSoakedFest.com.
