Real Street Festival Announces 2019 Lineup Featuring Big Sean, A$AP Rocky and Jay Rock

Southern California’s brand new and largest hip hop and lifestyle event, Real Street Festival, has announced its Summer 2019 lineup. The festival will make its debut on August 10 and 11 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, with performances from big name artists such as Big Sean, A$AP Rocky, Jay Rock, and Meek Mill. And if none of that sells the show for potential attendees, White Claw is one of the festival’s partners, and Real Street boasts three levels of VIP access. The festival will also include a custom car show, a graffitti wall and live artist interviews.

Real Street is an important milestone for Orange County, as the area has not hosted such a large hip hop event in over a decade. Hip hop has always been an innate part of the area, with blossoming rappers such as Endz and Sage One. However, this part of OC culture is often overlooked for the notoriously preppy and wealthy residents as depicted in media and the popular show, The OC––whose characters are more Billy Ray Cyrus than they are Lil Nas X.

Real Street’s stellar lineup and popular location are indicative of a promising turnout and hopeful return of the festival in upcoming years as well as a more wide-spread appreciation for hip hop events in OC.
