Amon Amarth has announced a North American tour in support of album Berserker. According to Loudwire, the tour brings three openers Arch Enemy, At the Gates and Grand Magus. The trek kicks off at Showbox SoDo in Seattle on September 26, mapping out the States and Canada, and wraps up at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 26. Check out the itinerary below and find the pre-sale tickets here. Pre-sale tickets begin on April 16 at 10 AM local time, on sale tickets begin on April 19 at 10 AM local time.
The forthcoming tour is a leading “Swedish metal invasion of North America,” Amon Amarth appeals to the public in the statement, “Come fight and feast with us and earn your seat in the great golden hall. This raid is pure heavy fucking metal and not to be missed!”
Arch Enemy guitarist Michael Amott responds the call, “Arch Enemy is very much looking forward to invading North America together with Swedish Viking kings Amon Amarth and our Metal brothers in At The Gates and Grand Magus! Miss this Swedish Heavy Metal apocalypse at your own peril!”
Grand Magus’ JB adds, “I would say that epic is the most fitting word to describe this happening. It’s an honour to be part of this gathering of metal giants and we will do our damnedest to make it a memory for life for all who will bang their heads with us during this adventure!”
Arch Enemy – vocalist Alissa White-Gluz, guitarist/keyboard Michael Amott, drummer Daniel Erlandsson, bassist Sharlee D’Angelo and guitarists Jeff Loomis – has confirmed the tour is the support of their heavy metal album Will To Power, which is their tenth full-length album released via Century Media Records in 2017.
