Justin Townes Earle Returns With New Video For “Frightened By The Sound”

Justin Townes Earle has released a new video for his second single “Frightened By The Sound.” The video premiered on Billboard with them describing it as an “impressionistic video of a couple in a tense repose.” In the clip, Earle performs his song while a separate instance is showing with a couple who have seemed to finish a heated argument.  The video was directed by Joshua Britt & Neilson Hubbard and can be watched below.

“Frightened By The Sound” will be featured on Earle’s upcoming ninth studio album, The Saint of Lost Causes, out May 24. It also serves as the follow up to the lead single, “Aint Got No Money” released in February, along with the album announcement.  The Saint of Lost Causes will feature 12 tracks and follows his 2017 album Kids In The Street.

He will also be hitting the road shortly in support of the record, beginning April 12 in Waverly, AL and will follow with some dates with Rodrigo Y Gabriela in North America. After North America, the tour will make it’ way to Europe this summer, kicking off June 15 in Stockholm and will hit other European cities including London, Leeds, and Machester, before ending in Glasgow June 26.  Earle will also hit the festival circuit, including sets at the River Rocks Festival, the Black Deer Festival in Tunbridge Wells, United Kingdom and the Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, Tennessee, alongside Foo Fighters, Leon Bridges, The Killers, Keith Urban, and The Head & The Heart.
