Kentucky’s new music festival Railbird has announced its lineup for 2019. The lineup includes headlining sets from The Raconteurs, and Hozier. Other acts include Brandi Carlile, Tyler Childers, Gary Clark Jr., Lucinda Williams, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, and Old Crow Medicine Show. See the full lineup below. The two-day festival will take place on August 10-11 at The Grounds at Keeneland in Lexington, KY. Tickets for the festival will go on sale Thursday, March 28 at 10 am EST, and can be purchased here.
Festival headliners The Raconteurs is a supergroup composed ofJack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keele. New music from the band has yet to be released with their most recent new music release being late last year. Two new tracks were also featured on the reissue, with the songs more challenging to listen to. “The band is keeping the tracks tightly under wraps and fans will have to wait until the reissue is released to get an idea of how they sound”
Brandi Carlile also had quite the year. After being nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy’s, she went on to play SXSW in Austin, TX and the Moonriver Music Festival in Chattooga, TN September 7-8 alongside Jason Isbell and the 400 unit Johnnyswim, Moon Taxi, and St. Paul and the Bones.
