Inter Arma have released their latest single titled, “The Atavist’s Meridian.” The song follows their previous release of “Stillness,” which are both included in the band’s forthcoming album, Sulphur English.

“The Atavist’s Meridian” features Inter Arma’s classical slow build mastery, spanning a lengthy 12 minutes, and is segmented by three major sounds. The song begins powerfully chaotic, backed by strong drums and heavy vocals. Towards the middle, Inter Arma slows it down, injecting some psychedelic and spacey-ness, before ramping it up towards a climatic doom finish. Listen to the 12-minute epic below.

With their latest track release, the band from Richmond, Virginia have also announced the dates for their United States tour this Spring. Inter Arma will be making 23 stops between April and June, and will be supported by Canadian metal bands Thantifaxath and KEN mode, as well as Denver’s Wayfarer.

They will hit the road on April 12, beginning in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest, which will also feature top names like Baroness and Enslaved. They will complete their tour on June 7, at Cosmic Charlie’s in Lexington, Kentucky. Inter Arma’s  tour will also see the band perform at Saint Vitus’s 8thAnniversary in Brooklyn, New York, and at the Northwest Terror Festival in Seattle, Washington. The full list of dates and locations for Inter Arma’s tour is included below.

Inter Arma have already released two singles from Sulphur English. “Citadel,” “Stillness,” and “The Atavist’s Meridian” are just a peek of what is to come from the band’s upcoming album releasing April 12.
