Khalid Releases Colorful New Video for “Talk”

In his latest music video for “Talk,” Khalid dances and grooves throughout various scenes set against various monochromatic backdrops. The R&B singer-songwriter treats fans to a playful and vibrant video that rotates between different color schemes while being anchored by groups of dancers. Directed by Emil Nava, the video, with its color schemes and boxy setting, is comparable to Drakes’ famous “Hotline Bling” video released in 2015.

“Talk” is the lead single from Khalid’s upcoming sophomore album, Free Spirit. It was written by the blossoming superstar himself and produced by UK garage and deep house masters Disclosure, who are responsible for Settle and Caracal. The track is a catchy and charming love song that is matched with groovy synths for an overall lively R&B vibe.

Khalid is one of the industry’s biggest rising stars, with hit releases like. “Young, Dumb & Broke,” “Location” and “Better.” He has also had several notable collaborations such as “lovely” with Billie Eilish and “OTW” with 6LACK and Ty Dolla $ign. His highly anticipated sophomore album is scheduled for an April 5 release via Right Hand Music Group.

The R&B superstar has been enjoying phenomenal worldwide success lately, with several of his tracks dominating charts all over the world. He recently performed as Saturday Night Live’s musical guest, and will be one of the headliners at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
