Dance Gavin Dance @ City National Grove of Anaheim 3/30

Hardcore rock band Dance Gavin Dance are set to headline the first annual Swanfest. Swanfest is a music festival curated by Dance Gavin Dance that will feature various talented acts. The music festival will include performances from Periphery, Crown the Empire, Don Broco, Veil of Maya, Intervals, Volumes, Hail the Sun, Thousand Below, Strawberry Girls, Eidola, Covet, and Wolf & Bear. Swanfest will take place at the City National Grove of Anaheim on Saturday, March 30th. Tickets for the event are $35 with some additional fees. The festival will occur rain or shine, with doors set to open at 1:00 PM. Swanfest will be available to all ages.

Dance Gavin Dance were founded in 2005 in Sacramento, California. The current band lineup includes, Tilian Pearson (clean vocals), Jon Mess (unclean vocals), Will Swan(lead guitar), Tim Feerick (bass guitar), Matthew Mingus (drums, percussion), and Andrew Wells (rhythm guitar). They are commonly known for their post-hardcore sound and can be compared to similar sounding bands like the Fall of Troy and Circa Survive. Just this past year, the band released their eight studio album entitled Artificial Selection. The 14 track record performed well and peaked number 15 on the U.S. Billboard 200 in 2018.

Not only does Swanfest mark the beginning of another great annual festival, but it also marks the beginning of the band’s ‘The Artificial Selection Tour’. Get your tickets below for a great time at the first ever Swanfest!

As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
