Stereolab @ Desert Daze 2019 10/10 – 10/13

English-French avant-pop band Stereolab has been the first group confirmed for Desert Daze 2019. This will be the band’s first North American performance in over 10 years. The day they are performing has yet to have been announced, however, this years’ Desert Daze music festival will take place at Lake Perris from October 10th to the 13th. Limited early bird tickets are still available and are going for $199 with some additional fees. Other ticket packages, including, VIP, bundles, camping, etc., will be available very soon. The event is available to all ages, however, those who are younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Kids under 10 years old are free.

Stereolab is a popular post-rock band that was founded in London in 1990. Their music incorporates pop melodies, vintage synthesizers and keyboards, and unusual time signatures. Lætitia Sadier’s vocals usually encompass  the band’s sound in a catchy “laid-back” manner. The band has been stated to receive an influence from different genres of music including, Funk, Jazz, and Brazilian. Although being praised in the underground music scene, it wasn’t until recently that they announced to tour the world again. Their scheduled performance at Primavera Sound Festival 2019 will be their first performance since 2009.

Luckily for us, Stereolab will be making their first North American appearance just a couple miles away. Hit the link below to get your Desert Daze early bird weekend tickets to witness this exciting performance.

Julian Pino: I'm a recent graduate with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. I graduated from California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, but I now reside in Los Angeles. I'm very passionate about music and have been trying to involve myself with the culture surrounding it for as long as I can remember. I was recently fortunate enough to work with the thriving new multi-channel network, Create Music Group where I learned many new things about the music industry. Here, I acquired several skills regarding music monetization and even became certified in YouTube Content Ownership. When I'm not working on the clock I usually spend my time finding new music. As a DJ/producer, I take pride in discovering new artists and different types of genres. I recently started a project where I intend to support and share new artists on social media so that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. I also make an effort to attend local shows whether the performers are superstar artists or aspiring artists. Ultimately, I aim to positively impact the community of artists and listeners that are as impassioned about music as I am.
